COOKIES POLICY
Does ZavFit use Cookies?
Yes. ZavFit uses cookies and other similar technologies to ensure everyone who uses the website or app has the best possible experience.
What are Cookies?
Cookies and other similar tracking technologies are small text files or code placed on your device (e.g. computer, smartphone or other electronic device) when you use our website or app (together, the “Site”) or view a message. Cookies allow a website or app to recognise a particular device.
Why does ZavFit use Cookies?
We use cookies and other similar tracking technologies on our Site and in our marketing emails. These help us recognise you and your device and store some information about your preferences or past actions so we can improve your experience on our Site.
For example, we may monitor how many times you visit our Site, which pages you go to, traffic data, location data and the originating domain name of your internet service provider. This information helps us to build a profile of our users so we can improve your experience. Some of this data will be aggregated or statistical, which means that we will not be able to identify you individually.
Cookies serve many functions, but in general we use cookies to:
- Remember information about you, so you don’t have to repetitively provide it to us time and time again.
- Allow you to remain signed-in.
- Personalise our service for you.
- Provide service continuity, e.g. allowing you to pick up on an incomplete activity such as filling out a questionnaire.
- Gain an understanding of how people are using our service, so we can improve our services and content to you.
- See if our emails have been read and if they were relevant and useful to you.
- Target our marketing an advertising campaigns more effectively by providing advertisements that are personalised to your interests
What types of cookies does ZavFit use?
The cookies we place on your device fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies—these cookies are essential for you to be able to navigate our Site and use its features. Without these cookies, the Site features and services you have asked for could not be provided.
- Performance cookies—these cookies collect information about how you use our Site, e.g. which pages you go to most often. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information about you. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and anonymous, and is only used to improve how our Site works. This helps us make improvements to our Site so we can provide more relevant content.
- Functionality cookies—these cookies allow our Site to remember the choices you make (such as your user name, language, last action and search preferences) and provide enhanced, more personal features. This is so the next time you visit our Site you won’t have to set them again. The information collected by these cookies is anonymous and cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
- Targeting cookies—also known as advertising cookies, these cookies are used to deliver adverts more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement on our Site and help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. They are usually placed by advertising networks with our Site operator’s permission. They remember that you have visited a site or app and this information is shared with other organisations such as advertisers.
